This Simple yet some what confusing jig is a great way to cut perfect elliptical tops. Commercial ones are available if you know where to look. but like I always say “why buy when you can build”. Never Miss an opportunity to develop new skills.

Cool jig. I’ve been watching some of your jigs videos but you always “forget” to give credits (where is comes from …). Some of them are certainly yours, but many are directly copied from magazine. It’s always nice to be able to reference back to the magazine.

Lepelerin- The designs for all my jigs are inspired by necessity or by a tool that already exists, I do NOT copy other peoples designs and claim them as my own. The only Jig in my shop designed by someone else is my router lift. It was a design by Matthias Wandel and i gave him credit for it. every thing else are original designs.
