This is the last of my recent completed finger joint boxes. The wood is walnut, hickory and the inside tray is maple. I like the way the walnut and hickory blend together. I have a couple more in the works along with other small projects. I have tried for awhile to complete a box and always had some difficulty and have kept some of the pieces thinking I will fix them someday This site has taught me a lot, I have learn from many different post and from comments people have made on different post even the comments have opened a different way of approaching a project. I want to say thanks to everyone posting and commenting.

Great looking box Ron. I really like the hickory and the different compartments. Thank you for sharing

Very nice box. I agree, this is a great wood combination.

Ron, this looks great. I’ve used hickory a few times and really like working with it. It seems like a wood that doesn’t get enough respect.

There’s something about a small box that is well made from pretty wood that just makes you want it. A really nice box … I want it.

Nice Ron, I like the mixture of wood too. Especially the maple and hickory together. Cause I love maple. Especially maple candy.
