I needed a stand for my dirtbike and decided to build it instead of buying it.

I think that about half of it is red oak and I don’t know what the rest of it is. It was a challenge as I don’t have a planer, jointer, or any hand tools to straighten twisted wood out. I was able to use my tablesaw to get the pieces squared up.

This is also the first time I had used my dado blade on my new saw. It worked pretty well but 1 horsepower definitely struggled through this stuff.

I think it ended up looking like 80’s furniture with the roundover but it works perfectly for its job.

The finish is just several coats of poly.

Second to last picture just shows some fun clamping.

Last picture shows what the pallet wood looked like.

If anyone knows what kind of wood the darker stuff is I would like to know.

Thanks for looking.
