Finally Finished Drill Press Table/Lift/Cabinet

This project was started last year around July. It was finally finished today, so here’s some pictures. I originally posted this as a “Forum” item last year under “Motorized Drill Press Table Lift”. There is a Youtube video if you want to see/hear it in operation:

That looks very handy, and the lift is impressive. Does the table remain square to the spindle when it’s moved?

Bobasaurus – The table support brackets help to keep the table square with the spindle as it moves, although it does wander slightly as it goes up and down. So far, for everyday work, I haven’t had the need for any accuracy/repeatability on projects but I have been working to get to that point. I can still use the column lock bolt to better stabilize the table.
