I made this wine rack a few years ago for a friend and his wife who had an odd space between two bookcases. It is nothing to go crazy over however it fit the space they had and if they move, it has chalkboard paint on one side in case it needs to stand-alone. I am posting this due to the fact I just saw this same thing online selling for several hundred dollars. It is made with one full sheet of plywood, a 2×4, 3-dowel rods PVC pipe, and paint too much paint. I was short on time and budget so I made the sides, top, and bottom out of pine ply the molding is from a Douglas fir 2×4. Everything got glue down than screwed in pace and plugged than painted light and dark brown just randomly than everywhere else was painted black to match the bookcases, they already had. The first piece of PVC has a small wage of wood to keep the bottles and the right angle, the rest just sit on top of one another. To hide the front ply edge I used quarter round that was a little proud on the inside to keep the pipes from sliding out. The top of the wine rack is in line to the top of the bookcase so there was a bit of space left over, if I put one more PVC pipe it did not leave enough space for anything else so I just put a plywood shelf in for some bottle openers and whatever. Sorry for the long read but $42 and half a day beats the you know what out of $750. so if you found yourself in need of one these rip me off instead of getting ripped off. have fun
