I know Walnut doesn’t spalt… or the hearwood usually does not. but this has some sap in it and it was spalting.

Kerux that is one cool toothpick holder. Might just have to steal this idea and make one for myself. Well done. Did you also turn the toothpicks? :-)

Ronald, thanks… I used a Coke bottle cap to put inside the holder to elevate for the picture.

Cajunpen, I had seen it ina magazine a few years back. And no, I thought about it, but decided to buy the tooth picks. ;-)

One very nice pic holder, how do you lock it when pulled up? is it simply tilted a bit to sort of jam?Like the shape, well donePete
