Small Celtic Fire Knot and Box

Another little weekend project finished and out of the way. I looked around and found a few scrap pieces of canary, birds eye maple, a bit of ebony and a little Celtic knot on the lid for decoration made from a black walnut knot sliced very thin then carved.
Fun little carving….now on to the bigger and a much more in-depth carving. Wish me luck as this carving shall test my skill level to the max…..hopefully I will learn something along the way.

Largely beautiful, in a small package. WowZa!! This is a fantastic example of what I always say: “there is no scrap, in woodworking”.... lol
