Good idea- trust that you turn off the lathe when reaching for a tool.

Thanks, and yes, lathe is turned off when not turning. Can never be too careful.

I like your setup with the tools. I may do something similar when I get my shop built. How do you keep shavings fron the sandpaper box under the lathe?

With the sandpaper on the far right, the shavings do not seem to be an issue. Originally, when the sandpaper dispenser was separate and closer to the left, shavings were an issue.

Great idea, a very functional and practical build. Like the sandpaper dispenser. Great job!
