Cherry burl 14 inches across at the widest and 7 inches tall. All natural no colors added. Held this together with duct tape turning the turning. Yes I did leave this thicker as I did not like the structural integrity of this piece.

It may be a little thick but it is definitely not chunky. It is safer to keep it a little thick then to let it fly apart.
I really like this one.

Beautifully AWESOME Ron, I love it.

-- Bob, Western Australia, The Sun came up this morning, what a great start to the day. Now it's up to me to make it even better. I've cut this piece of wood 4 times and it's still too damn short.

Well done. You did the right thing by leaving the walls thicker or nothing would have stayed together.

Awesome Burl

The cherry burl looks great, so much colour in that wood… and I imagine it is quite a challenge to turn something like that….excellent.

Really nice vessel from what look to be some very fragile burl. You got the magic touch for sure.

Awesome work turning that delicate and exquisite bowl. The burl is gorgeous and love the natural color.
