spalted maple bench

A spalted maple bench with a curly maple apron and mahogany inside. The front and back apron are pegged in place and carved them to a pyramid kind of shape. The bottom shelf inside is through mortice and tennoned through the legs then wedged. All in all I’m pretty happy with the way this came out.

That is a beautiful and useful bench. Love the woods you used and the design too. Great job on this. It would look great in any home!

Fantastic looking bench! Like the cool design and great joints. The woods are gorgeous. Excellent job!
