Turning is super fun.
It’s very easy to turn wood, and it’s very hard to turn wood well.
A big salute to those that can do both…....
Also, I’m going to re-paint all these cabinet doors…..

It looks like you did well. The improvement that will with practice is better technique and speed. You never stop learning.

-- Bob, Western Australia, The Sun came up this morning, what a great start to the day. Now it's up to me to make it even better. I've cut this piece of wood 4 times and it's still too damn short.

Great job, thats a nice container. What kind of wood is that?
Great comment about turning wood being easy, but turning wood WELL being hard as hell! I agree!
I have a piece of mulberry on the lathe right now waiting for me to come home to it. Here is my first bowl which is more of a cup actually – it was a trial run using a pine board from HD laminated together to get a thickness I could turn.
Your first blows my first outta the water! NICE BOWL man!

I have no idea what kind of wood it is, it came with the house…
it is very light in color, and extremely light weight, seems to have a tight grain. you tell me!

Lovely bowl! Like the shape and the wood has pretty grain patterns. Great turning piece!
