I got the vision for this piece in a flash – it then took several months to work out the details…this is one of my favorite pieces and the one I receive comments on the most. I love animals, especially rare exotic species and African antelopes were the original inspiration for this work.
The console is made of quartersawn black walnut and curly maple with a Waterlox, polyurethane finish.

Hi Teresa,
What a beautiful image you have given us here of what goes on inside your head. I went to your website and read what you said here, ”I sit down, and build whatever image is screaming the loudest to be born.” Wonderful imagery projection and how the black walnut and curly maple are wed together.

Thanks for what you have shown us.
GODSPEED,
Frank

This “pulse” feature sure brings up some gems that I’ve missed since just getting here to Lumberjocks!

Teresa -

This is a beautiful table. I would enjoy hearing more about the construction – especially the legs. I visited your website. Your work is amazing. I really like the pieces wih the leaf motif.

This is fantastic….I love the inspiration and how well the legs create a ‘living’ table. Nice job on this!
