I was quite surprised at how hard and dense this pear wood is, but it was really worth the effort. The grain patters are really good. It is sanded to 400 and then polished with Shellawax Glow.
Dimensions are 5.5in x 3in.

Bob that is a beautiful bowl; great job. Usually the wood appearance is what holds the full beauty and people don’t much care about the shape but even though the wood is stunning I think was do it for me on this bowl is he Shape; very eye-catching.

Bob, This is a super looking bowl, but as long as it is posted next to the other three, it hasn’t got a chance.
