I was quite surprised at how hard and dense this pear wood is, but it was really worth the effort. The grain patters are really good. It is sanded to 400 and then polished with Shellawax Glow.
Dimensions are 5.5in x 3in.

C&C welcome and thanks for looking.

-- Bob, Western Australia, The Sun came up this morning, what a great start to the day. Now it's up to me to make it even better. I've cut this piece of wood 4 times and it's still too damn short.

Bob that is a beautiful bowl; great job. Usually the wood appearance is what holds the full beauty and people don’t much care about the shape but even though the wood is stunning I think was do it for me on this bowl is he Shape; very eye-catching.

Nice turning Bob, like the shape and the finish you have achieved.

Bob, This is a super looking bowl, but as long as it is posted next to the other three, it hasn’t got a chance.
