Box Elder Bowl

A buddy of mine gave me a box elder log that had the red flame in it. I turned out this 9” bowl from it. Finish is a wipe on poly. Thanks.

Ah, a real beauty. you got the flame in it from the BE!! I love it.
You’re making me want to turn one. Red box elder pieces seem to sell the best at shows!!
You have certainly been busy on the lathe!!!!!

Great looking bowl, I really like the flame in the box elder. I’m really getting into turning again and your work inspires me.

The position and shape of the coloring makes this look like a modern painting. Nice bowl!

Beautiful job with the box elder. The color shows up great. Something I keep loosing when turning Box Elder.
