Found a good project for all those Oak pallets we normally trash. Wine bottles in the top, slots in the bottom for glasses. thanks for looking…

cool..but add more picts…this is tough to get perspective…maybe add a couple wine bottles in it…

Will the wine bottles Stand up straight?

Napaman – thanks for the comment, I added another pic. I plan to add more once I get it on the wall and full of bottles and glasses.

Brilliant idea with the glasses! I love the rustic finish…check out my candle holders and lazy susans made from wine barrels…

One thing to consider is that many winos store wine on its side…has something to do with helping the wine not settle…

“Wino” is something of a derogatory term in England, just fyi :-)
Wine is usually stored on its side to prevent the cork from drying out, shrinking, and therefore allowing air at the wine, which may well then become expensive (but possibly quite fine) vinegar.

Great pallet project, it looks great and has rustic charm. It a great wine storage with limited space. Well done!
