Surprise! It’s not a bowl.

This is more of the same wood a friend brought to me from his place in Georgia. I cut it, milled it, shaped it, sanded it, glued it and Voila! its a box.

The grain is so neat I just put lacquer on it and let it go… No stain or oil or stain.

That is some beautiful wood. And getting to start off from log form makes it even better. Nice work

Good to see Georgia pecan is as riddled with worm holes as ours in Oklahoma!

I am surprised!! :) And Voila… It’s beautiful!! And I love how you started with a tree from Georgia, cut it up, and have made so many cool pieces! Very impressive!
