Walnut and Maple Box

I planned on making this box out of walnut only but a friend of mine suggested putting strips from different wood in the lid. Long story short, I went a step further and did some laminating with more maple and this is how it ended up. I left the wood natural color and applied 4 coats of Minwax Satin poly.

good lookin must have turned the heat on in the paint booth or is that a new quick drying poly you made.

Actually Dean, it was still a bit soft at the time of assembly and pics. Not soft enough to leave any finger prints though.
