Around the 1st of the year I decided to try my hand at woodworking. About March my wife says to me ‘I have figured out what your new hobby is.’ ‘What’s that?’ I reply. ‘Putting together new expensive woodworking power tools.’ Ouch….....

Well momma didn’t raise no fool. And I know a threat when I hear one, no matter how funny it is. I figured I should make something and make something fast!

We had received this picture with our granddaughters in it as a Christmas present. The only problem was that the frame was black and did not go with the rest of the wood tones in our house. So this little picture frame became my first project.

I am new to woodworking as well…. I think we started about the same time…. this frame looks great as do the rest of the projects you have posted…. I feel your pain in the time it takes to put together the tools you need to really work on projects the right way…..

I bet the honey do list is getting longer. I learned so much here. Search any subject in the search box and if it has to do with woodworking your find something your no rookie I like that table you did.
