I live in a Rental House and have hopes of one day my family owning our own home. I’ve always wanted a Garden but didn’t want to put work and money into someone else’s home. I decided to make an Herb Garden, this way I will love the work I’ve done, have a new project to work on and be able to move it with us!

The four sides and bottom of box is made out of ply wood. The legs are 2×4 douglas fir and the bottom shelf is ply wood as well. The demensions of the box is 3’x2’ (I also made my sister-in-law a vegetable box with the same design but the size is 4’x3’).

As a bonus I cut up some screen material to put over the holes to keep the water draining but not the soil.

Made this last February and is still holding strong!

Great job. Where there’s a will there’s a way!

Like it, great work on a very nice and sturdy herb planter. I’m sure it will serve you well and give you lots of herbs for great meals.

Have your say...
