Second attempt at bean bag boards

My first set was a painting disaster. Had to read up on paint do’s and DON’TS. Turns out I had the “don’ts” down pretty well….... and it showed. This time the paint went on and stayed on much better. I used a Kreg pocket hole jig so there are no visible holes to fill and construction of the boards takes less than 45 minutes from material to a regulation board. Painting, that’s another story. However, it was much better this time. I bought vinyl HD logos and the rest is taping and painting.

Thanks for looking,

Jerry

Those look fantastic Jerry! How did you do the logo?

I bought the logo in metallic vinyl and laid it on before applying the clear coat. The clear gives it a much glossier look and seals the edges.

Great work Jerry. I’m glad you got the painting issue resolved, I have a feeling that you will be making more of these.

Looks fantastic Jerry. I’m sure these will become very popular.
