For the past month, my parents wanted a picnic table for their cottage. So one morning, I got up and made this one. The cost (unfinished) was surprisingly low. it got sealed after these pictures were taken. The paslode was only to tack some pieces together, everything got screwed in place. It took a couple hours to make including picking up the materials. Definitively a very easy and very rewarding project.

I used these plans but added one 2×4 on edge under each bench. The result is amazing. We were three big people on one side and it would not tip at all. By far the best picnic table I’ve ever sat on. I will make another one for myself soon.

Break out the BBQ & call all (and I do mean ALL) of you friends because there’s plenty of room! Well done Alex.

That’s one huge and heavy duty picnic table. I’m sure a lot of people can enjoy it outdoors. Great job!
