This was my first attempt at a bandsaw box. While searching online for some samples, I came across one that campzeke posted here on Lumberjocks. I really liked the the style and the end grain on the cypress. Please check out his boxes as they are much nicer than mine :-)

This was made for my daughter and will go on a shelf in her closet – so I thought cedar was a good choice. I just grabbed a piece of cedar from my local Lowe’s. I was actually learning a bunch of new skills with this project and I thought it went very well.

The wood grain makes this a very pretty box. I’m sure your daughter will love it.

Wow, you sure have a way with grain patterns. This box really turned out well and inspired some ideas.
