The paper towels in my trailer will unroll as we travel if we do not secure it. I made a towel holder that has a weight that drops as the roll get smaller and keeps it from unraveling as we travel if not secured. I made two one for my trailer is cherry the other is for my brothers 54 foot boat and is made of teak.

Clever design. I like it. How does your dowel remove to install the towel roll?

The opposite end not pictured is open to slide the dowel through, there is also a brass pin to keep the dowel from spinning or coming out of the holes.

Great idea….wish I’d have seen it when we had our travel trailer, unwinding was a problem there too.

Nice design. Now when you copme up with a way to only allow the kids to be able to pull off one sheet when they are heading out the door, let me know.
Very inventive and a great design.
