A while back I posted a blurry picture of a Lichterbogen I’d made last fall. After I finished it, I was sure I wasn’t in a hurry to make another, but a year later, the holidays are approaching, and the wife mentioned we should have one for the upcoming craft fairs.

Well, since they are made of 1/8th” Baltic Birch Ply, why not stack em and make two at once? Most of the cutting was #3R Pegas blade, with some of the finer details cut with a #2 Skip. Lights are powered by 2 C-Cells, and following tradition there is no finish on the wood.

This pattern was in a book of Christmas Ornaments I’d bought. I actually do like making them, (Or maybe it’s the feeling of accomplishment when the last cut is made.) so I guess I’ll have to buy another pattern or three!

Thanks for looking

Very attractive and nicely done.

That’s a great decoration and a nice job on the scroll sawing.

I really like that. Can you give me the name of the book?

Beautiful work and I really like the idea of battery powered lights.
