One day while I was installing a solid surface counter top in a customers home I noticed an Antique China Cabinet in their dinning room. I really liked the design so I asked and received permission to take pictures of it.
I latter studied the pictures and started designing the cabinet in the picture. I changed a number of things, first making the doors with glass panels, then adding the coffee mug shelf underneath. I then finished it with 3 coats of sanding sealer, and 2 coats of catalyzed lacquer. Sanding to 220 between the first 3 coats of finish.
I normally do not repeat pcs., I have however built a number of this design for customers since.
Thanks for looking, Todd

Todd,

Beautiful set of dishes! And, oh yes, the cabinet is really nice, too.

Very nicely done and most attractive—good way to show off Moma’s china.

Beautiful cabinet! Like the design and the finish. A great storage for precious flat wares. Great job!
