A friend of my wife’s son is a part owner of the Texas Rangers Ball Team. She asked me to make a bowl for her son which would celebrate the team. Using the Team monogram, I came up with this design for the bottom of the bowl and a basket design for the sides. Bottom is made from Maple, bloodwood and So. American Rosewood. Inlay is Inlace poured in place. Walls are Cherry with black veneer between segments and rings. Bowl is approx. 7 inches dia by 3 inches high. Now she wants another one for another owner of the team!? lol.
