This is how I did The English Woodworker’s cupboard (it’s a 3 part you tube video). If you want an exercise in hand tool only work pick this. It’s small, has very few joints, but it’s a challenge to do by hand nonetheless. My version ended up a little smaller because I don’t rip saw as well as Richard does. And there is planing 3/4” thick boards to 1/2” for the ship lapped back and the top and bottom caps. I left all my scribbles on it because I’m making another one and I’ll compare it to this one.

I just made a big cabinet with a drawer by hand and I thought this is would be a cake walk. I found out I still need to practice a lot more.

The place I wanted to hang this in my shop I can’t. It’s residing in the boneyard until I can find a spot for it.
