My first cutting boards

These are my first projects I have made since I just started woodworking. These boards have taught me so much and at the same time I enjoyed the challenge. Lots of room for improvement and I can’t wait untill I get back out in my shop this winter to make more projects and let the wood teach me some more!

Nice job John. What did you use for the finish?

They all look great. Pretty designs and wood colors. Like most the bricks design. Great job!

I used Watco butcher block oil and finish on all of these boards. I may have over done it with multiple coats. I like the glossy finish but may have built a film of finish by using the multiple coats. I have read that just mineral oil would maybe be another alternative. I am new at this and open for any and all suggestions. Thanks to you all for your comments. I enjoy looking at woodworkers projects and I sure am glad I found this site, as it has inspired me to start working with wood. Thank you
