This shaker style table hall table got me 2nd place in the skillsUSA highschool woodworking display. It is made of roughly 15 bdft of solid walnut all around except for the draw bottom which are 1/4 oak ply. The drawer fronts are cut from a single board to give grain and color flow and I chose to keep sapwood on the right legs because i like the look. For the finish i sprayed 5 coats of clear shellac and hand rubbed 2 coats of 50/50 shellac and denatured alcohol.
