This is great! The base doesn’t seem to suit it though; it seems too bright and stodgy. How about if it was black or just darker, thinner, and much taller? Maybe a trumpet sort of shape to give the house more height.

I think the base provides a nice contrast to the bird house.

Hey Zaks! I live in Phoenix on the NE side. Like what you have done and good luck with ASU. I am an old novice. Which means I am not young but just getting started. Your bird house looks great but I wish there was something in the photo to give it a sense of scale. Is it for hawks or humming birds?
