Clamp Storage Rack
As with my glue up station I bounced ideas for clamp storage around in my head for years. Only within the last couple
months did I finally tackle the project. I now have a space for most any type of clamp I have in the shop. I always seem to be adding to my clamp collection. Recently and not pictured are a set of 3’ & a set of 4’ Jorgenson cabinet-master-clamps also known as “parallel clamps” as well as 6 more 12” F style bar clamps that I just added.

The last thing I wanted was to brag.
I am blessed with a great wife, that allows me to stay active even though my income is very small.
After 7 major back surgeries, 2 years in bed, I now have a morphine pump implanted that allows me to do what I love.
I will be starting a school when my shop is complete to help anyone I can with the knowledge I have collected of woodworking through my experience of over 35 years.

Again I apologize to anyone who thinks I am bragging (If I am adding to much to this forum let me know and I will back off.

Todd, that’s a great rack, and what a variety of clamps! While I can’t read Robcastle’s mind, I read his message to say “great job, I think I’ll have a little fun with him”. Sort of like a wood gloat “you suck”, which means you did good. Keep it up, Todd!

It’s good to hear that others bounce ideas around for years! ;-) What was your rationale for going with the mobile cart as apposed to a fixed mounted storage solution?

Thanks Chuck, My rational for the mobile clamp rack is fairly simple. For years I had wall mounted clamp racks,
I even had them in the shop I am in now. What I have found over the years is my clamps are always in the wrong place. I have a large shop and I want to be able to have my clamps close to where I am working. Whether I am at my bench or my glue up table. If they are not close they often pile up in different locations, and I am a neat freak.
I like everything where it belongs.
Thanks for your interest, Todd
