This pecan vase has a lot pieces to it, the stand and top, the finial, and the bowl itself. The dye helps the pecan stand out a bit, and gives it some added color. The ash stand, top, and finial are ash crotch-wood from Pennsylvania, and the pecan was from a harvested tree that had to come down. Overall height is 11” and diameter of the bowl is about 8”.

I have been checking out all of your other projects and I really like what you do with the stone inlay!
Recently, I filled a medium crack with turquoise crushed stone and I was amazed at how well my first effort turned out. Seeing your super fine work makes me want to do more!!!

Also, where did you get the stunning lapis blue? It is a wow to the eyeballs but I can’t seem to find that color.
Great work, Ray

That’s a gorgeous vase. Like the beautifully shaped pieces, they look perfect together. The dyed pecan really stand out. Great job!
