I made a Greene and Greene style dartboard cabinet from cherry w/ ebony plugs. The panels are bookmatched and both panels are sawn from the same board.

This is very nice looking. I have a dartboard in my garage; I should make something like this.

My only suggestion would be to add a chalk board to the inside of one door to keep score.

Something similar to this:
