Some of my recent shaped boards:

1. Bread Slice chopping board made of maple, birch, and purpleheart

2. A pig. An older pattern I’ve been using. Made from Beech, Birch, and Maple.

3. A Cat. Made from Beech, Birch, and Maple

4. A toy mouse. Made from Walnut.

I made the toy mouse after my in-laws brought back a little mouse cheese board from a famous vermont cheese maker. It was terribly made. Rough surface, saw marks, an eye hole drilled out. I thought I could do better, I think I did.

Great variety and fun shapes K! I think the mouse needs an inlay tail (maybe?). lol
Thanks for sharing.

I love the bread slices. I still think you should try sand shading when you make more

Thanks everyone. And Joe, I’ll make one just for you so you can do this sand shading thing.

I misread your title as “a slice of kitty” :)

That would be interesting. Something you’d see in anatomy class.
