A friend of mine had some scrap Zebra wood and let me have some to make a ring or two out of. I have to say I really love this wood. Zebra wood ring with the turquoise is real pretty.

What dod you get the final thickness down to? I have made a few of these for the wife, out of zebra, but she is dainty, and i have to get them pretty thin, and zebra wants to split along those contrasting grain lines.

Was thinking of using the vacuum wood stabilizer trick next time.
