hi guys, first time posting, this is suppose to be a zelda sword for my kids, but somewhere in its the drawing stage and the finish is a little different. at first i was going to make one sword,
but after i glue up the blade stock it became to 3/4 thick , so i cut it in half to 1/4 thick and made two sword. the blade the blade is made out of purpleheart the edge is made from curly maple.
the handle is padauka wood. i finish it with 4 coat of lacquer.

It reminds me of “Thudercats”, except for the Lion Logo. Nice job!

Great selection in woods and style.
Whenever I make something like this for my grandson, my daughter and wife always give me the “evil eye” if ya know what I mean…................
