Not so sculpted bar stools

I build a good amount of sculpted bar stools, but felt I should try to hit a different price point. So I went back to the drawing board and came out with a pair of stools with great lines, comfort and strong joinery.

These stools have a 31’’ seat height for a 42’’ bar. I offer the design for a 36’’ counter or 42’’ bar height. Built from Canadian black walnut, seat is hand sculpted while the rest of the stool has tapers but no sculpting.

Great design, I love the weight. Some people will really appreciate a bar stool that can fit both cheeks comfortably. Not me, of course….:)

A wonderfully designed and crafted stool. The sculptured seat and the angles on the other components make it a real eye catcher and a solid, but graceful appearance.
