It has been a long time since I posted on here. It’s been a busy year moving and getting things set up including my shop. I am finally getting the sawdust flying again. More projects to come!

This was a simple project that I wanted to build. We enjoy using our “Fire pit”. Sitting around it its very relaxing. At one time we had a bench like the one shown that was given to us. It was a little rough but functional. However it got left behind in the move. Out of all the chairs we used around the pit we liked this style the best.

I couldn’t remember the exact construction of it so I searched the net and found something close. I modified it to my liking, (I put a slight angle on the bench to make it more comfortable). Turns out I had enough scrap lumber to build 2 of them. Its not a fancy project but useful and was easy to build. Now I just gotta buy the marshmallows and hotdogs and were ready.

I really like your design Mark especially if you are eating around the fire pit. There are plenty of flat surfaces to accommodate plates and drinks.

It looks good and sturdy, a great addition to the outdoors. Great work!
