I have not had much shop time lately. I have been busy training for several events this summer that kicked off with something called a Goruck Challenge in July. It was almost 14 hours of, uhm, good living. Google it. I have three more big races before the end of the year so most of my free time is spent running or working out. While I haven’t been getting to making much sawdust I have shed 25 pounds ;-)

But I am an addict so I have been working on some small projects. Including cleaning out the off-cut bin. I made these three trinket boxes and coasters from laminates of strips of off-cuts. Lots of fun to make. Especially since I don’t have to buy wood. Finished with BLO and poly.

Cheers.

PS. For some reason my new tablet won’t allow me to rotate pictures. Stupid”smart” electronics is not so smart after all.

Always fun to create projects from “free” wood scraps. Nice use of wood. Good luck in your upcoming races and the weight loss is an added bonus.
