While watching “Garage Woodworks” on You Tube I saw this simple method of how to make some simple coasters with scrap wood laying around. After making a simple jig for my plunge router I was able to make the (5) coasters. The four that you see has a company logo. That is the company I work for, so I thought I would give these as gifts to four of the co-workers in my department. The single one you see without the logo is one that I glued the cork upside down. That one is for my wife so she can take to work. I’m very pleased how these turned out. My plans now are to make a few sets and give as Christmas gifts. Maybe come up with a design of caddie and make to go with the gift. The cork inserts were coasters that we give out to customers so I thought that would made a little more attractive option?

Here is the link to the Garage Woodworks video I was talking about:

Very nice! How did you get the logo printed on? I have a project that requires printing and I’m trying to find the best way to go about it. Thanks!

The cork I used are coasters that the company I work with hand out to customers as a freebee. I used these thin cork items to glue onto the wood. So to answer your question about the logo, I believe those were screen printed.
