Real simple oak with walnut dowels, mirror back mounts on a french cleat can be both vertical or horizontal. On a side note I got a slab 7’ x 30” slab of maple today so i should have more interesting stuff up soon. After it adjusts to the shop.

Simple and Elegant! I can see a production run of these in your future. I like how you “staged” your photo. Rift cut oak would look sweet too. Can’t wait to see what you come up with for that slab of maple.

Thanks everyone. Really simple i know. I would like to do a small run of these in multiple sizes and horizontal or vertical configurations. Also like to make them so that in a grouping they will vary in how far extrude from the wall. As for the slab bfd, all I know right now is that I will be welding a base for it, and its going to need some inlays to stop the checking and maybe some epoxy.
