This was a commission that I jumped at for the interest. Shaker styling with 1 3/4×1 3/4” legs, extra wide breadboard ends and two generously-sized drawers. Finish is hand-rubbed linseed oil and varnish.

Very Much a Shaker table, simple and yet beautiful. Great work & craftsmanship. Timeless styling, can’t beat it, especially in cherry.

Shaker furniture is my favorite type to build…I’ve done several pieces in the simple design…..The Shakers had it right…..”form follows function”.....No frills and no gawdy looks to their furniture…..All of their furniture was built to be used according to their customs…not just sit there and look purdy…...Stellar job on the piece..
