I had the idea for a triangular table from a car dealership I saw when i was in Ottawa a few months back. The view I had was from the corner of the building where the 2 glass sides met and the triangular roof above continued to jut out. Very modern look. I hope I captured it with this table.
The table is made of maple with the edges and the front leg of mahogany. Both the maple portion and the mohagany are each from single boards to have a continuous flow from the top and down the side. The mahogany sides are mitered on the table top and the back. The 2 long sides of the triangle top are not equal by design.
Measurements: 36” tall, 42” long (to the tip) 11” at the widest point. Finish: tung oil and high gloss polyurethane.
