Works like a pocket hole jig should. I made a couple of pegs that fit in my bench dog holes and secure the base. Just pop them in and you are ready.

Yeah! Someone else that doesn’t use a Kreg jig. I like the idea you have here. I think I will you use it for some other tool mounts. I use a porter cable quick jig.

It would have receive a TOP 3 if you had slapped a kreg jig on it. Apparently that’s all you need to do to get a TOP 3 around here. My Post knocking kreg jig material support projects
