I love band saw boxes and have not made any in a while. I had this one shaped for three months sitting on my work bench covered in cobwebs. Finally got off my lazy duff and changed out my band saw blade and got it done.

Whew…its cedar…lol After having seen you had been working with walnut bud, I was afraid you had turned over a new leaf. Sweet bandsaw box Todd. Someday I am gonna give it a go with one. I am pretty sure its on the manditory aspiring woodworkers checklist… I am a few items behind on that list. Heck, I still gotta make my first cutting board or they are gonna kick me out…lol

Great looking BS box. I used to love working with cedar, but can’t any longer…makes me break out with hives???

Nice BS box, be sure to put a bottom layer of non wax shellac on red cedar before any top coats, I just ran into a situation where they can and will shed the finish over a given period of time.
