I made this for the woman who’s car got destroyed by the tree falling on it. (past blog) It was a Flowering Pear tree. She loves chocolate ice cream but can’t have it anymore. I hope this makes her day. Approx 8’’ tall 4 1/2’’ wide. The cone is finished with salad bowl finish just in case she still wants ice cream and the top is lacquer. Flowering pear, walnut, pink ivory used in the making. Thanks for looking.

That is beautiful, Dave. Now you need to make one for Roger in Kentucky and have it filled with ice cream!!

That’s pretty cute. I’m told that wood makes for good ice cream bowls, too bad she can’t use it that way but I’m sure she’ll love it all the same.

This is plain old cool! I’m going to have to learn to turn so I can really appreciate the hobby side of woodworking.

Dewayne, thanks. I think I would rather be helping you on your shop instead of having all this fun. HA HA

Buster, thanks. Ice cream is very cool.
