i decided to make a few games this week and this is one that i made. i used a scrap piece of walnut i had laying around, cut it into a 6” triangle, measured the holes to be 3/4” apart in rows like shown. drew the lines to make it easier to drill accurately. i sanded and put some poly on it. i used some golf tee’s with some poly on them to finish up. the tee’s fit the holes perfect, i dont remember the hole size, i just held the bit up to the tee and went for it. lol that’s a country girl for ya, cooking and crafts dont seem to have measurements…lol the kids love the game, and i even got down to 1 peg a couple of times too!!

Nice game. There is a place on line to get the moves to make a perfect game and leave only one peg!

I have one of those games that belonged to my Mom and I never knew the name of game! I play the game with my nephew and nieces when they come over and it is a lot of fun. It has been on my list to make more games to play and create more memories for them.

Thanks so much for the posting.

Good Build! My grandfather had a couple of these around his house for as long as I can remember but his had a rounded top. I have made a rough one to resemble his and I have made another that more resembles yours. Glad to see others making this game and keeping it alive.

Have your say...
