This is my Attempt 23. I love box with mechanisms, more than a box, they are a toy for me. I remember the hours playing with my grandma´s box before her eyes fearful.

woods are laurel, cancharana, mora y lapacho. If some one is interested in the english name, I can search in my archive.

In this attempt there were a lot of things to improve: finishing and joinery specially.

thanks for your nice welcome and comments

Another nice box Cancharanay! Was the mechanism complicated to build? Where did you find the pattern? I have a difficult time with finish on my projects. I have a bunch that are just waiting for me to apply the finish. Just need to do it and learn from the mistakes instead of dreading them. Thanks for sharing.

thanks Candy. Mechanisms are not complicated, but take time and some skills. I will take photos of the construction steps next time.

Beautiful choice of woods and a very nice use of the drawer mechanism. Gives the box a distinct flavor. Well done
