This is my first real carving done with my new (Used only once) Carvewright machine. It is carved in Walnut, painted with aged bronzed and finished in laquer and wax. I always wanted a carvewright, my brother has one, and was able to find one on craig’s list for a awesome price $800.00 . I was a little worried when I inquired about the machine due to the seller not posting any pics and such. I also notice that the seller lived in rural Missouri. the day I picked it up I called my brother in law, Pastor Paul and asked him to ride along. I also asked to make sure he was “packing” due to maybe some Meth head jacking me up for $800.00. Paul asked “Packing”? I said “Yes, bring the collar”. LOL.
The Carvewright came with the spindle “carvetight” upgrade and extra bits and software. SWEET!
