I got a Tom Wolfe book on carving dogs, last Christmas, and I’m finally getting around to trying one. I like the base on this one…just a piece salvaged from the side of the road. Thanks for looking!

It looks like you got my old hound to model for you, he should be back home in a few days cuz the first
flock of geese were honking a few days ago, and the fool hens are heading for the brush. Wonderful
carving.
